tofu, veggie stir fry

I made this yumm-O tofu, veggie stir fry for lunch. I thought it would be a yummy treat. I was wrong. No one liked it:(

Well, I did. And Brother did when he eventually ate it. He did chase it with a PB&J and S opened a can of ravioli for herself and Lu. H ate cereal.

I hate cooking and no one wanting to eat it, I also don't want to make PB&J every day.

sigh..what's a girl to do?

Try Pioneer Woman's Cajun Chicken Pasta. Tastes like the right part of the South, and easy too.

It LOOKS really good. I love tofu, too, I'm sure I would have liked it. :o)
With Pete having a milk allergy and we're doing the soy milk thing, I may just have to start doing tofu young before they get prejudice against it.

I'm not a big fan of tofu so I probably would've taken the PB&J too...what about a stir fry with a peanut sauce (and no tofu)...kind of a combination of the two?

I can't believe you would make such disgusting food:)

Ever heard Jim Gaffigan talk about tofu :)?

I know what you mean about the cooking and it not being liked- It doesn't seem to matter what I make- someone won't like something- gets pretty annoying.

I am considering making them cook- My sister did start something where each of her kids get to pick the menu for the day every week- but if they complain about someone's choice, then they don't get a turn to pick anything. She says it has helped with both her variety and not wondering what to make for dinner. I might give that a go as well-

Cooking for just Allan and I is easy, and he's pretty willing to eat JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ; ) I used to get so frustrated when cooking for the kids and I would try something knew and no one liked it.

Shhh don't tell anyone but I've never tried tofu--just can't bring myself to do it.

I agree; it is so annoying to work hard on a dish and have the kids be whiny about it. We tell them they don't have to eat and we're fine with that, but they are not allowed to complain. Sometimes one really will skip a meal. Our 5 yo son hates fruit but eats any vegetable, go figure. He will eat apples and raisins, but nothing else. What kind of kid likes veggies but not fruit??
