pretending it's spring

Sassy has been running amok destroying things. I decided she needs more constructive things to do. Yesterday we went out and planted her two plants. A blueberry bush and a blackberry bush. She watered and dug and one has a little leaf on it today. I wonder if it will give us any fruit?

We have more seeds for our actual garden but are waiting for actual spring.

I also got out some of my old math books from when I taught 1st grade and have been working with her in them. She likes it and is doing a couple pages at a time.

She likes to help clean and bake, and loves to read and have friends over. She is ready for kindergarten that is for sure!
