Yesterday was our annual Beach Party at the Square. So much fun! In the morning the kids had a primary activity to go to and then we did some cleaning up (what else is new? :) ) and then we were off for an afternoon of wholesome family recreation!
They had some great boats docked at the wharf that the family got to tour. They want a boat now :)
There were many street vendors, musicians, contests, and fun for everyone. Like last year, E's favorite was the sand volleyball! The kids really enjoyed the bouncy houses and velcro walls. They participated in a hula hoop contest and a jump rope contest and played sand volleyball and dug in the sand.
The fire department was there spraying water and we all took advantage of some cooling off fun.

The kids enjoyed the magicians show and seeing friends and neighbors out and about.
After walking around for several hours we found a nice, noisy restaurant and had some yummy Mexican food for dinner.
I think the kids had a great day. I know I had a great day.
