and this is her smiley sidekick, who is wiping down the cabinets, a job deemed unjustly easy by the "fairness police" of which poor Cinderella is Captain.

p.s. soon after these photos were taken J came down stairs complaining that we were making too much noise, "she was out late last night and needs her sleep"
for the record: it was 11:10 am at the time the complaint was registered
in my head: Count your many blessings, name them one by one...

I always remember something said one day that if your daughter ever says (before 16), "I'll just die if I don't get to go to the dance"--I guess the graveyard is full of girls who died because they didn't get to go ; )
Being a mom does have it's moments doesn't it.
you are nicer than me- I didn't let my teen sleep- in-- I stayed up just as late (didn't got to bed til he was home and reported) so I had no sympathy the next morning-
And I am not sure how, but MY kids are the only ones who have to waste their Saturdays doing chores. Just ask them. Of course, this is the first Saturday we have been home to do chores in over a month- but still!!!
