Every morning, without fail, Lucy wakes up cheerful. Her eyes are bright and excited for the new day. The first thing she says every day is: "is today ballet day?" One day out of seven I can happily answer "Yes!" the other six~ not so much. Sometimes I can say "no, but your friends are coming over", or "no, but daddy will be home to play today." Sometimes I have to say "no, but we are doing laundry today! Whoo Hoo!" No matter what follows no but she is never pleased about it and always says "I want today to be ballet day, I can't wait".
Today is ballet day! Yeah!
While the kids were waiting for the school bus Lu went and got herself ready.
Super!
Now she only has 9 hours to wait.

She looks adorable! Maybe you could talk her into cleaning around the house with you both 'dancing' ballet :o) - plie to pick up the dolly, leap, leap to cross the room and plie again to put the dolly in the right place!
