When I was a teenager we had a family move into our ward, the Martins. They moved to CA from TX. They hated CA and LOVED TX and always talked about how much they missed it. I do not want to be that family. So I am trying to be happy and excited about our move to MD. Although, I have to admit I do love TX and MD pales by comparison. Still, it will be fine. There is good stuff about every where. We just have to find it. Fortunately this is a wonderful move for Beloved and his career. It's what he's always wanted to do, and in this shaky economy keeping a job is a real blessing. So that will help.
We looked at houses and neighborhoods all day. Everything is more expensive than we want to pay. This part of the state is pretty rural and remote from anything so that will be an adjustment. We have narrowed down our choices and I think we'll pick tomorrow...stay tuned.

You are right--IT WILL BE FINE.
Good luck in finding the right house. I hope it is a great move for EVERYONE.
notice those of us here in TX are quiet we are hoping you will stay put here:0
Are you still out east?
I think you will find the nice things there too.
The east coast is fun and there are many things to do and to see.
Good luck in house hunting!
You are SO right--there is good where ever we are. Sometimes we have to dig deeper to find it. That said...we will miss, miss, miss you. But I'm NOT even going to think of that yet. I'll just ride the wave of excitement over your new adventure in a really great place.
