Tuesday is Beloved's birthday. He has karate and won't be home until late so I asked the children when we should celebrate and they decided Saturday afternoon would be great.I took them to the store and they carefully looked at all the stuff and decided what they wanted to give him. They were very thoughtful and cute. Brother looked at a stuffed duck for a while but finally discarded it for a new belt since "dad had to hold up his pants at the airport where he broke his other belt". He then picked one that looked like his own, always wanting to be like his dad :)
Lu chose a "who Y E" shirt, blue with an island print. H a new wallet, one that can hold pictures so he can always have her picture with him.
After presents and a favorite dinner we had yumm-o cake. Then ended the evening with a rousing game of Killer Bunnies. Brother won.

It's always fun for kids to pick out presents--sounds like they got great ones for him.
