i heart nativities

and so does Lu :) We have five beautiful nativities in our home. We used to have another one but it broke:( and I am planning on getting another soon, but for now we have five. A couple days ago we put them all out and Lu has been enjoying them very very much
Here are our stunt wise men, we find them doing tricks around the house.

Here a couple got together to surround one of the "baby Jesus'". Brother and Lu spend a lot of time rearranging the various sets. He feels they should face forward, with Jesus in the center. She feels they should all circle round and look at the babe. It's a bit like the fairy godmothers in Sleeping Beauty, when Aurora dances and her dress changes from blue to pink, pink to blue, again and again.
Here is a Deity summit, all the baby Jesus' got together to conference on the kitchen island.

I have always loved nativities. They make me smile. My Mother in law collects them and they are on display year around. So after seeing that i have like 7 sets that me and my Husband have gotten and decided to display them as well. I like the ones that you have. Thank you for sharing.

I just bought the Little People one the other day. It has been living under the tree. M, of all people, is the one who gets upset when the little kids play with it and rearrange everything. ;o)

We need a nativity. I love them, but I don't have one. How is that?

Love this post! The wise stuntmen are too funny and the summit is hilarious. I also collect nativities , including that LP one. I have several Alaska-themed ones, as well.

I bought the FP set when Youngest was a baby, added to it as the new sets came along, and have since been crazy enough to buy 4 complete sets- one for each of my children to have for their children. I really hope my three youngest have to wait a looooong time to get theirs and my first born gives me a few years :) I love them because the kids can interact without breaking anything, and they don't look cartoony- like those that are sold that are animals or stuff like that which I feel is sacriligious.

You are a nice mommy to let them play will all of them
