Sotterly Plantation

This morning Brother was invited to a skating party. He didn't want to go, because he doesn't know how to skate. I took him and promised to stay until he was comfortable. He ended up doing great and we had a fun time. He was skating by the end and I was the coolest mom cause I can skate backwards:)

When we got back it was time to go to the plantation Christmas. The girls got in their dresses and they looked very cute!

It was raining and cold. Of course, and there were tents set up so we dashed from tent to tent. They had crafts for the kids.

We got to visit with Santa! Lu asked him for something not on her old list,...or that I had heard anything about before.

We got to go on a cold, wet sleigh ride "Santa's Taxi".

Mrs. Claus loved the girls dresses and sweet smiles.

FUN!!

Oh- I can't skate too great- especially compared to my hockey playing kiddos- but I get brownie points from their friends because I will put on skates and skate around with them- most of their moms wouldn't be caught dead trying to ice skate-

Good Mom points to you!
