new boots, old truck

We had a fun weekend. Friday night Beloved and I went to ward temple night. There were a lot of people there from the ward and it was fun to go with them. It made it extra special to see friends and loved ones.

Saturday morning we woke up and went on a family bike ride. It went pretty well except Brother still has training wheels and he was much slower than everyone else so Beloved had to keep circling back to get him. I pulled Lu in a little trailer and she liked it a lot. After that everyone went for a swim while I got the house ready "just in case". Then we went to Olive Garden for lunch to celebrate S's seminary graduation. The kids were happy and well behaved and we had a nice lunch. After lunch we went to Cavenders intending to buy boots for S, J and Beloved as a "we're leaving Texas (hopefully someday soon) present" S wasn't interested but the other two got some. J's are SO cute!

Then we came home and swam. Then Tori and Emma and David came over and we swam some more. Then we went on another bike ride and after the kids went to bed Joy came over to ....swim!

Sunday was ward conference and Sunday night we had dessert with Tori and Emma and David. Emma and J played a duet for us and Em learned to play the violin a little. They were silly and cute.

I love those boots and dress!! CUTE. You do so great on your blog... I'm not sure how you do it all!
I've been in a blogging rut all year, which has even hindered my reading and commenting.
Love your blog!
So great to catch up!
