how do little boys enjoy Temple Square?

Monday we spent the day at Temple Square, and the evening at something rock park. It was very nice. We saw the movie, Joseph Smith Prophet of the Restoration. G didn't make it very far so we left and strolled around. D and her friend Allie met us. Allie was visiting for the weekend from TX and they were on the way to the airport. I was glad to spend a couple minutes looking at things with them. Allie is going to be baptized next month, we've known her since she and D were in middle school together so this is very exciting to us!

The kids all enjoyed wrestling with their Uncles. Uncle Amadeo is so cute with G, and Uncle Alec and all the dad's/uncles got to give lots of piggy back rides!
The fountains were too tempting to stay completely out of!

A quick stop by some lovely flowers. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. I could really feel the Spirit there and enjoyed the quiet moments and the moments with all the gang. It is so great to be here with everyone!

Sunday night we had a surprise anniversary party for Mom and Dad. They have been married 41 years. It was just us kids and spouses and grandkids but it was very nice. We had cake, and gifts and we each said a little something to them. With our family spread all around the country and grandkids growing up so quick we all cherish the times together.
So far the vacation has been great!

I LOVE Temple Square. Absolutely love it. So glad you were able to experience it again. I can't wait to see the Joseph Smith movie next time I'm there.
