I am so with you. The menu planning for a large family goes beyond mystery...it's mt everest some days! We have 7 and the food circle (earn money, buy food, make food, eat food, clean up after food) eats up a chunk of my day! But it's worth it when they are all smiling and gobbling it up:)

Dinner can be a trick, at least for me. Your other meals look just great.

So... what did you cook?

So with you there. Sometimes it is frozen pizza or hamburger helper or grilled chicken or sometimes we actually try a something new. Tonight we had chicken fried steak (sams), baked potatoes and peas.

I hear you! I did something fun (I haven't blogged about) Each kid looked through all my colorful cookbooks and picked 3 things they'd like to help me cook. . .then I arranged them into a 3 week schedule. We did it religiously for a week and then it's tapered off, but it was fun to have them help with meal planning and be excited about the cooking!
