friends

the best, and hugest, guinea pig in the world. Tommy.

Boxes are getting emptied, where to shop and get a hair cut and go to school are being found. It's going to be good.

One of the things I had hope hope hoped for before we came is that H would find friends in the ward and in the neighborhood. She's an awesome girl and so much fun but a little quirky and hasn't really found a true best friend yet. At times she's felt lonely and being between social butterfly J and everyone loves him Brother has been hard for her. Many things have been on my prayer list regarding this move and friends for H has been very near the top.

It is amazing to me how the Lord looks out for us and cares about our smallest concerns. The first day at church H met a little girl she liked and they giggled together at the LingerLonger after the block of meetings. I was glad to hear the report and hoped that we'd get a chance to get to know her better.
meanwhile, we received an invitation to have dinner with a family in our ward on Monday. Monday evening we arrived and guess who's family it was? Chelsea's. H's new friend. We had such a fun night together the girls got along great and they have kids all our little kids ages. On Wednesday Colleen came to visit me and then invited H and E back to her house to play for the afternoon. Which they loved. Then yesterday we were able to have all four of her kids over for a lot of the day while she and her hubby went to the temple. When they came to get the kids they took mine back with them. It's worked out so great and H is so excited. Icing on the oh so sweet cake is Chelsea has a good friends who moved in to the house just around the corner from us and yesterday the two girls went down and met Katie and played back and forth between the two houses for several hours. Sometimes prayers are answered quickly and happily and I am so grateful to see the Lord's hand in our life and the care He has for us. I hope she will continue to make friends and to keep them and be happy.

He is certainly mindful of us and it is so wonderful to know that prayers are answered. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience.
