ghost of Halloweens past

D was a ghost, J a black cat and S was Jasmine. 1997
1995 This Halloween I had no money. We were in the middle of getting divorced, living with my family, and I was finishing my degree. Still we had a very fun time.
D was a cheerleader. We cut felt out and basted it onto a shirt and she wore Anna's skirt and used her poms. S was Pocahontas and J was Tiger Lily: pieces of felt, noodle necklace, paper headbands and a magic marker were our supplies. The girls looked very cute!

What great costumes! It's interesting, the years I've had less money to spend on costumes, they've actually been cuter because I had to be more creative. Anyways, thanks for sharing. How cute! :)

Your girls have always looked so cute.

Hopefully J will want to be a cute kitty like your J.

Cute costumes--I think the ones we create are often the best. Aren't memories fabulous!

1995. Our oldest was a just a year old. My husband found a cute "nurse in training" costume for her at the hospital gift shop - a little pink pair of scrubs. How fun!

I'm hoping for an el cheapo halloween this year...

Great costumes. If I could pin down what the boys want to be, I could get started! They keep changing their minds.

Welcome back home. I have to agree it is pretty different hanging out with a bunch of guys from your husbands same profession. Things I think are dull and boring, they get the biggest kick out of them.
Your pumpkin patch looks like a lot of fun. They really don't have them here, but I've been to them before and they are awesome.
The bath idea is great for little miss grumpies. I will have to remember that. We have days like that too.
I love the walk down memory lane seeing all the different costumes. It is good to remember you don't need a lot of money to have a good costume and a lot of fun.
